When there’s not much money around the first thing to go tend to be the arts, but actually it should be the other way round. The harder times are, the more you need creative opportunities because people are emotionally struggling, communities are struggling. And music especially is a way to bring communities together and to help them to thrive and to become empowered to express themselves and to have a stronger voice in society.
